A Word About Bespoke and Size

We use the terms Bespoke, Custom-Tailored, Custom-Fitted, Size and Measurements interchangeably.  In most industries these terms mean the same.  That is, a product is Made-To-Order based on a customer's specifications.  In our case, we use a customer's measurements to manufacture a pair of jeans.

When making a Custom-Fitted garment, it is customary for a local Tailor or Dressmaker to take the customer's measurements.  From the measurements, a Tailor makes a pattern and, from the pattern he makes a sample.  Then, after the sample is satisfactorily fitted, the Tailor makes the final garment.  Except for taking the measurements, which in our case the customer provides, that is exactly what we do.

From the measurements a customer provides, we make a pattern and, from the pattern, we make a sample.  Then, we shipped the sample to the customer and, after the customer approves the fitting, we make the custom-tailored pair of jeans.

As outlined above, the manufacturing process begins with the customer's measurements.  If this crucial first step fails, the other steps fail too.  This is why we cannot stress enough that you be very careful when taking your measurements.  To learn important details and cost should you discover when you get your sample, that any measurement you provided was wrong, go to Shipping.

It is also worth noting that a custom-fitted pair of jeans, or any garment, can in many cases enhance a person's physique.  However, no garment changes a person's body concerning weight, height, width, volume or length.

Size And Your Privacy

Unlike mass-produced garments, we do not mark your bespoke garments with any of your measurements.  We do not provide this information to anyone, including you, via telephone, email, text, chat, in person, etc.  Only you can disclose the size of your garment.  Should you need to know the measurements you gave us at any particular time, please Sign In to your account.

Follow the steps below to take your measurements.

Step 1

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you DO NOT measure yourself, unless you are an experienced Tailor or Dressmaker or you will be okay whatever the results.  To learn important details and cost should you discover your first set of measurements is wrong, go to Shipping.

Step 2

Find someone to help you.  Someone handy would be great.

Step 3

Unless you don't mind to be in underwear in front of whoever can help you, buy a pair of workout pants or shorts made of Lycra.  They do not need to be expensive, but close-fitting.  See Figure 1 below.  If you have this item, continue to Step 4.

Step 4

Gather the items shown below: 1) One Tailor's Measuring Tape.  2) One Ruler made of wood or aluminum, not plastic.  The Ruler may be bigger than 12".  In fact, a piece of lumber similar to a ruler will do the job.  If you have these items continue to Step 5.
